Happy Birthday, Carlos!!!

6.6 was Carl Barat's birthday. He played a closing act of Camden Rocks and the small venue bubbled over with clapping. In my words, Carl coloured the gray town, Camden rock colour that nite. I got to the venue right before the show started. I thought I'd be so extra late and miss the show, but got in safe. I said to him 3 yrs ago that everytime I came to his shows I could always see his fans jump into the flame of his passion. But apparently, those people are now gone to somewhere else (maybe not to rock'n'roll city) At least I couldn't spot them anywhere.
When he does an acoustic show I can feel his sound beautifully breathing and that would sweetly melt your heart. I was fairly impressed by his gifted musical abilities. Joshua from The Paddington and Anthony (the guitarist of Carl's former band, Dirty Pretty Things) also emerged on stage as special guests and they played some songs together.

I posted these photos above particularly for those who missed the show for whatever reasons.
I just had a good chat with Anthony at aftershow party. It had been a while... DPT split up last year, but their music will assuredly remain forever...
I was gonna hang out with some people afterwards, but got out of the club and walked down the street in the rain to catch the nite bus home.

What you want is to stay away from people like me
Who twist most everything they see
And leave the grey old world behind you...

Here's setlist of The Paddingtons. Oh, I luv them.
